Membership

The Jewish Cultural Society of Yukon is geared towards supporting the local Jewish community by organizing activities, such as getting together for the High Holidays, by providing information from Jewish organizations across the country, such as the B’nai Brith and the weekly newsletters from the Jewish Federations of Canada, by sharing the weekly Torah readings, and just by getting together.

We are also committed to continuing to share the amazing stories of the Jewish presence during and after the Klondike Gold Rush.

Become a Member:

Your membership fees go toward the day-to-day maintenance of the website and the business expenses of sustaining the Society.

If you choose to become a member please send us your contact information by using the Contact Us form.

E-transfers to the email treasurer@jcsy.org

By check to our mail address on ‘Contact Page’

Cash to our treasurer.

How much:

Single membership - $25.00

Family membership - $40.00

Also, if you choose to make a donation (of any size) in support of the JCSY™ we will send you an email link to our new booklet (once it is completed) which outlines the many amazing stories of the Jewish presence during and after the Klondike Gold Rush – it is full of stories that have gotten national attention, and is well worth the read.

Here are detailed instructions for the e-transfer:

Login into your online banking account
Select Transfer/move funds (the message should be similar depending on your bank)
Select e-transfer
Add to your recipient/e-transfer list: Name: JCSY™ Email: treasurer@jcsy.org
On the Notes field write your full name and if you're paying for yourself only or someone else too in your family.
You will see a notice that treasurer@jcsy.org is registered for auto deposit.
***** That's very important, if you don't see this notice check again the email address you're sending to, to avoid sending the funds to someone else by mistake *******
Enter from which account and the $ amount ($25 or $40 or the donation amount)
Select "Send money"
Complete the transaction until you get a screen that the transaction is completed, save the confirmation number, and the date.
You will shortly receive a confirmation email from your bank that the e-transfer was accepted.
Congrats !!! You're done
